Netflix has some interest.
The legendary Dionne Warwick has been a hit on Twitter. Now, the singer’s tweets may have landed her a Netflix biopic starring Teyana Taylor.
On Dec. 16, Warwick tweeted to fans asking for a biopic, “This is a case for @netflix. Please don’t ask who I would cast to play me as it would obviously be @TEYANATAYLOR.”
Taylor quickly responded with hands up emojis.
Netflix’s Twitter account replied with “taking ✍️ notes ✍️..” and Warwick tweeted back, “I’ll call ya!”
Social media has pointed out the similarities between the top, including Karamo Brown from Queer Eye.
In the meantime, if you need more of Ms. Warwick, you can soon expect a single with Chance The Rapper. After the two bonded on Twitter, Dionne Warwick’s son Damon Elliott, who is a record producer and her manager, said in a press release,“The result of our conversation with Chance is this new single we’ll be recording soon and we’re all looking forward to this collaboration.”
Mrs. Warwick just celebrated her 80th birthday on Saturday (December 12).
