Aries Spears Calls Current Generation Of Hip Hop “Dumpster Juice” and “Garbage”

Aries Spears has been facing bac’klash for his comments about Lizzo during an interview, where he said the singer and instrumentalist’s body looks like a plate of mashed potatoes. Now, the comedian has spoken on the current generation of hip hop, delivering a ha’rsh critique on the current line of rappers out right now.

While speaking to ‘Art of Dialogue,’ Aries Spears was asked about this generation and said, “Garbage! I mean, other than Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole…garbage.”

He then continued saying, “If you took the emcees of my era, from the ’90s, I named some of ’em—Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, DMX, Jadakiss, Big Pun, Big L—you put them up against this young generation of rappers, you would literally have the ’92 Dream Team versus the Special Olympics. Spottemgottem, f**kin’ Lil Nas X, f**kin’…who else are the rest of these n***as?
